Lexa ROF (black filly) was foaled April 3rd, 2011, and Lily ROF (bay filly) was foaled April 4th, 2011.

Lexa ROF is by Lexington and out of a Friesian Sporthorse mare (Koloa). Lily ROF is by Lexington and out of a Dutch Warmblood mare

(Natasha).

Lexington debuts at FEI Prix St Georges ~ already winning!

May 2011

Lexington made his FEI PSG debut in May, and did very well, and his results are even more impressive when you consider Lexington won't even be 8 years old until July! He's already scoring in the 60's, and won his PSG class in only his second time competing at this level. Lexington was also in the running for the FEI High Score Champion, but we left the show early and don't know the final results yet, but we'll update....!

special Baroque Issue, August 2010!

Our pinto Friesian Sporthorse stallion prospect is featured in this month's Baroque Issue of Dressage Today magazine (page 62.) Americus ROF is a Main Book Friesian Sporthorse by Nico (Approved Main Book Friesian Sporthorse stallion) and out of Miramar (Main Book Friesian Sporthorse mare.) There are less than a dozen Main Book pinto Friesian Sporthorses in the US, and we are happy to own one of them. We look forward to adding this exciting new stallion to our Stallion Roster in 2011, so be sure to check back! (Americus ROF is owned in partnership with Hanover Farms.)

Lexington ~ more show results!

August 2010

Lexington and Gigha had another good show this past weekend at Canterbury. This was probably Lexington's last show of the 2010 show year -- but he'll be back in 2011, most likely making his FEI PSG debut! Lexington wrapped up the show (and the show year) with a 68% and a 69% at Third Level. He was also the Third Level prize money winner for this show circuit, which was exciting! This show had some torrential rain on Friday, which left one of the outdoor competition rings pretty soggy, but Lexington wasn't even phased.

Lancaster ROF (by Lexington) Inspection Champion with an awesome 80.4!

October 2010

Congratulations to Lancaster ROF who was just presented at inspection where he did fantastically well. He had an overall inspection score of 80.4, the highest score of the inspection, making him the overall Champion and also earning him his Bronze Elite Book status with the FSA and his Supreme Status (and Gold Medal) with the AWS. Lancaster is a Main Book Friesian Sporthorse colt by our Elite Book Friesian Sporthorse stallion Lexington, and out of our Dutch mare Natasha. Bred here at River Oaks Farm, and now owned by Sabina (CA). We are very proud of Lancaster! Thanks also to Dean Graham (handler).

Lexington is the sire of two of the three top FSA National Inspection & In-hand Award winners for 2010!

Two Lexington offspring won National Inspection & In-hand year-end awards for 2010. Lancaster ROF was the 2010 National Champion, and Paducha Dancer was the 3rd place finisher. Lancaster was bred by River Oaks Farm, and is owned by Sabina DiSano (CA). Paducha Dancer was bred and owned by Michele Woodford (TX). Congratulations!

Lancaster ROF (by Lexington) top AWS foal for 2010!

Lancaster ROF was recently announced as the top AWS foal for 2010. Lancaster is a Friesian Sporthorse colt by Lexington (Friesian Sporthorse) and out of Natasha (Dutch Warmblood.) He was also the FSA National Inspection Champion for 2010. Congratulations to Lancaster and owner Sabina!

2011 Foals Are Here!

Koloa had a black filly early Sunday April 3rd, and Natasha had a bay filly early Monday April 4th. Both foals are Friesian Sporthorses by Lexington. We're excited to have finally gotten fillies!

Lily ROF moves to her new home

Lily ROF (2011 FSA filly by Lexington) arrived at her new home Sunday.

Lily ROF is the full sister to Lancaster ROF, who was the FSA National Inspection Champion for 2010.

We've bred Lily's dam back to Lexington again, for another full

sibling due in 2012!

Lily ROF was presented at inspection Saturday September 24, 2011 at Brandywine Stables in Melbourne, where she had the highest score of all horses presented, and was named the Inspection Site Champion. Congratulations Lily and Carrie (owner)! Lily is a Main Book,

Lily ROF had a very successful day at the 2011 SSHA Classic UDSF/DSHB Show! She won her "Fillies of 2011" class with a fabulous score of 81.7%, and went on to become the Champion of the overall "Foals of 2011" class also. She also qualified for the Regional Championships, and earned her Bronze Elite Book status.

2011 Regional Champion for

Current Year Foals. We are thrilled!

Not only was this a great success overall, but Lily was also the first Friesian Sporthorse to compete in the USDF/DSHB Championships, and we're thrilled that she won it! Lily ROF is owned by Carrie Simmons, and was bred here at River Oaks Farm. She is by our Elite Book Friesian Sporthorse stallion Lexington, and is the full brother to Lancaster ROF, who was the 2010 FSA National Inspection & In-hand Champion. Congratulations to everyone involved, and a special thanks also to Dean Graham (handler)!

Lexington named FEI High Score Champion with scores in the 70's

January 7 & 8, 2012

Lexington and Gigha won both of their FEI Prix St Georges classes at the recent Canterbury Dressage Show, with scores of 73.8% and 70.2%. They were also named FEI High Score Champions of the show. What a great start to the 2012 Florida dressage season!
